Perform the operational functions related to cash area including cash/non-cash transactions and provides a superior service level to all customers.

Perform all the ATM functions including preparing daily proof sheet , handling captured cards , filling along with the replenishment of onsite ATM machines and reports any malfunctions for repairs and maintenance.
Introduce alternative channels to customers to reduce traffic in branches according to bank SOP’s.
Process all the cash counter transactions accurately in accordance with the set objectives.
Manage the branch daily cash needs with Head Teller for better coordination of cash shipments between the branch and central vault.
Investigate thoroughly any differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other security items by following the standard process of checking / scrutiny / investigation as outlined in Branch standard operating procedure manual.
Cross sell products based on customer potential and needs without affecting their primary work and service standards contributing in the achievement of the branches KPIs.
Maintain zero cash shortages and excesses at counter to ensure maximum control on cash balance.
Maintain accurate checking on all end of day reports and rectifying of highlighted discrepancies to ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to.
Check counterfeit currencies, checks and identities.
Adhere to the bank related the average waiting & serving time in addition to the productivity reports.
Provide insights on domestic and global economic performance and policies, as well as, develop probable economic scenarios, by monitoring economic indicators and developing relevant forecasts that are an integral part of the bank’s strategy and business plan development process, while pinpointing potential market opportunities or potential economic risks for the bank.

- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Economics & political science or its equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience at a financial institution/ economic research company/ research centre for economic studies/ global economic development organisation.
- Solid understanding of Macro/Micro economics
- Excellent Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and tools of data management; maintains data sources used to develop economic statistics based on best practices for collecting data and validating data
- Sharp qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven.
- Attentive to details.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic. A third language is a plus.

1.Monitor economic performance indicators and policies, as well as, global economic trends to develop a periodic report covering recent developments and providing insights to management on their potential impact on doing business to be considered in the strategy review and development processes
2.Conduct research to provide country specific economic performance forecasts, as well as, fiscal and monetary policies to serve strategy development purposes.
3.Recommend underlying macroeconomic assumptions for key economic indicators and policies for the purpose of the annual budget and business plan cycle.
4.Conduct economic research to identify potential market opportunities and economic risks whether domestically or globally, as well as, develop relevant scenario analysis.
5.Examine historical economic data and events to analyse the correlation between economic factors and the effects that a range of economic policies may have to deliver required study papers by executive management.
6.Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of economic indicators for the domestic economy and global economies to serve economic research and forecasting purposes.
7.Develop research papers/ case studies on other countries’ policy changes and their effects, and in turn providing an analysis of the potential impact that similar domestic economic policies may have, which could serve in assessing potential impact on the bank’s performance.
8.Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks by the Head of Strategic Planning, while supporting the team with the required input to and provide some guidance, while encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
9.Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
